ok, fellow pain sufferers, especially those with chronic back pain and fibro. Has anybody found a mattress that has helped bring a little bit of relief from their back pain? I wake up in so much pain and I know it’s due in part to my horrible mattress thats way too soft. I’m looking at IKEA beds this time since they’ve got the 30 day trial or maybe some kind of medium/hard mattress to keep my back in a straight line, and a thinner pillow to keep my neck in line with my spine. Has anybody tried these foam types of beds or toppers? We’ve got several traditional mattresses in the house and their way to soft -I’ve went from bed to bed and they’re all killing my back! Any suggestions welcomed.

Have you tried out a waterbed? I have a soft-sider. It looks like it is a regular bed mattress. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis, neck and back problems and it helps a great deal.

My mother has back pain for which doctor recommend us for a medicated foam mattress. In our country “Ortho Master Molty Foam” mattress is the best one. By using it she gets quick relief.

@xcheck Yes back issues might become a problem when you carry too much in your backpack while travelling…. or perhaps just travelling:)
